Native Irish Wildflowers
Intensive farming and the use of chemicals has resulted in a serious decline of our native natural habitats. Deciduous woodlands are few and far between. Native hedgerows have been sacrificed for bigger fields.
You may not have the space to grow an oak tree but it is possible to grow a selection of native Irish wildflowers in the smallest of gardens, or even in containers.
Every small thing we can do collectively will enhance our native plant and wildlife heritage.
